A receipt describes a transaction that is already complete. Get Receipt records the payment; it never moves money.
The saved value describes how a buyer already paid your business. It never initiates a payment, adds a due date, or chases anyone for one.
Money stays in integer minor units. The server recalculates every total before a receipt is stored, and the same calculation powers each preview.
